When Is the Tournament?

The Rockin’ and Reelin’ Fishing Tournament will begin on Friday, September 4 at 5 pm and will conclude with the final weigh-in on Saturday, September 5 at 5 pm.

Where Will the Tournament Be Held?

The tournament will begin at the Charlotte Harbor in Port Charlotte, FL, and will conclude down the road at the Four Points Sheraton in Punta Gorda, FL.

What Is the Tournament Format and How Can I Enter?

Since the tournament is inshore/offshore formatted, there are two ways for participants to participate in Rockin’ and Reelin’. You and your fellow anglers can venture out to the Gulf of Mexico or stay inshore, depending on how confident you are in your chances. With prizes up to $14,625, anglers should be aware of which option they think will suit them best.

Entering the Rockin’ and Reelin’ Fishing tournament requires boats to have a minimum of two anglers for inshore competitors and a minimum of four for offshore boats. The price per inshore entry is $350 and $450 for an offshore entry. Any additional anglers apart from the required two and four, respectively, will be an additional $50 per angler.

Proceeds from the Third Annual Rockin’ and Reelin’ Tournament will several charities and local organizations in the Port Charlotte community. This year, you can be part of an event that supports the following:

  • Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association
