One of the longer-running fall attractions in North Port, the Annual Fruitville Pumpkin Festival is a must-see attraction during the weekends of October. While you can take advantage of Fruitville Groveā€™s rich produce, free admission to the 27th Annual Pumpkin Festival will allow you and your family to enjoy pumpkin carvers, pony and hay rides, delicious food, live music, face painters, festival games, and much more!

The 27th Annual Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Festival will be held every weekend from October 3 through 31 from 10 am to 5 pm at 7410 Fruitville Road in Sarasota.

7th Annual Sarasota Pumpkin Festival

The 7th Annual Sarasota Pumpkin Festival is another great fall attraction near North Port that centers on one of the many staples of the fall season: pumpkins. Perfect for attendees of all ages, the Sarasota Pumpkin Festival is home to pumpkin patches, mazes, pie eating contests, rides, games, and a petting zoo along with great food and safe trick or treating from vendor to vendor to celebrate the Halloween season.

The 7th Annual Sarasota Pumpkin Festival will take place at Payne Park, 2050 Adams Lane, from noon to 10 pm on October 23 and 24 and noon to 8 pm on October 25.

Haunted History Tour

History buffs especially should check out the Haunted History Tour, which shows you the sinister side of the North Port community. Learn about the famous stories of paranormal activity at some of your favorite commercial and residential buildings near North Port during this 90-minute tour.

The Haunted History Tour begins and ends at the Franklin Shoppes at 2200 First Street in Fort Myers, FL, on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8 pm.

Fort Myers Pumpkin Patch
