Honda CR-V Trim Comparison
The compact crossover SUV is one of the hottest body styles out there today, and interested drivers near Fort Myers, Venice, and North Port may be considering the Honda CR-V for their next ride.
If you’re thinking about the CR-V, you’ll want to read our Honda CR-V trim comparison to learn more about the various versions of this car and what they offer. Which trim has the features you desire? That’s up to you to decide, but Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Port Charlotte will give you all the information you need!
Honda CR-V Base Trim: LX
The Honda CR-V LX trim comes with a host of standard modern conveniences, including an automatic climate control system, so you can set—and keep—a precise cabin temperature.
A remote entry system will eliminate time spent fumbling for your keys, and a multi-angle rearview camera will help confirm what’s happening behind you before you back up. There’s also a remote fuel filler door release, too, which makes filling up at the pump quick and convenient.
The base trim includes a turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with Sport Mode, offering seamless power and more control—and fun—when you’re behind the wheel of your ride. This setup comes standard in every CR-V trim level above the LX, too.
The Exclusive EX—and EX-L
The CR-V EX trim really loads on all the tech features. Along with the LX trim’s standard features, the EX has a 7-inch touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration for intuitive phone connectivity. The climate control is now a dual-zone system, so you and the front passenger can each set your own temperature, no matter the strength of the Fort Myers, Venice, or North Port sun.
Providing a bit more refinement, the EX-L trim adds leather-contoured seating for a classier, easy-to-clean ride. The driver’s seat gets 2-position memory as well, so a couple of designated drivers can program their ideal settings and find them quickly. Access to the rear cargo is made simple thanks to a power tailgate.
The Touring Trim
As the top-level Honda CR-V trim, the Touring is the cream of the crop as far as advanced features. In addition to the EX-L trim’s features, this trim boasts a hands-free access power tailgate, which you access by kicking upward toward a sensor under the rear bumper. When your hands are full of bags, or kids, this is a handy convenience.
You’ll also get roof rails, so you can attach a roof rack for extra utility and transport your bike, canoe, and more with ease. Besides the added function, they’re a style upgrade, as well. Only the Touring trim comes with the nifty night-driving feature: LED headlights with an auto-on/off feature. Dual chrome exhaust finishers complete the image and add another sporty dimension to the Honda CR-V.
