Promotion Dates: Mail pieces will be sent via U.S. Mail by 12/12/24 for the Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Promotion (“Promotion”). Mail pieces may be redeemed during business hours Mon-Sat: 8:30 AM EST to 10:00 PM EST; Sun: 9:00 AM EST to 9:00 PM EST) from 12/19/24 through the close of business on 1/2/25 (“Promotion Period”).

Sponsor: The sponsor of the Promotion is Port Charlotte Auto Retail Inc., 1252 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33953 (“Sponsor”).

Participating Dealer: The participating dealer for this Promotion is Norm Reeves Honda Port Charlotte, 1252 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33953 (“Participating Dealer”).

Who May Enter: Promotion is open only to (i) legal residents of the United States; (ii) aged 18 or older as of 12/19/24 (iii) who reside within 100 miles of the Participating Dealer; (iv) who have a valid U.S. driver’s license and Social Security Number; (v) who are the direct and intended recipients of an eligible Promotion mail piece via the U.S. Postal Service; and (vi) who have held permanent residence at the address on the mail piece within three (3) months prior to the start of the Promotion. Proof of insurance is required to claim the car prize. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, promotion administrator, Participating Dealer and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, and advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings and their spouses, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win.

Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void outside the eligible area stated above and where prohibited.

How to Play: A total of 14,591 mail pieces will be distributed for this Promotion via U.S. Mail. Each mail piece will be printed with a unique number. On or about 12/18/24 one (1) winning unique number will be randomly selected for each prize available by an independent judging organization in a random drawing from among all eligible unique numbers distributed for the Promotion following the distribution of all mail pieces via U.S. Mail. The Participating Dealer will display the official prize winning unique number(s) and the corresponding prize description for each selected winning unique number during normal business hours throughout the Promotion Period.

To determine if you have won, take your mail piece in person to the Participating Dealer by the close of business on 1/2/25. Maximum of one mailer per household. Only one foil may be scratched to reveal potential matching number. No one may participate in this Promotion on behalf of another individual, or use a mail piece addressed to another individual. Compare the unique number printed on your mail piece to the winning unique number(s) on display at the Participating Dealer. If the unique number printed under the one foil you have chosen to scratch on your mail piece exactly matches, in the same order, one of the winning unique number(s) posted at the Participating Dealer, you will be eligible to claim the corresponding prize, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules (see “Claiming the Prize” section below).

Original potentially winning mail piece(s), must be redeemed in person at the Participating Dealer, and presented and surrendered to an authorized dealer representative by close of business on 1/2/25. Late entries will not be considered. If prize is unclaimed, it will not be awarded.

The winning number(s) displayed at Participating Dealer may not be revealed over the phone or promoted or released in any form of media, including but not limited to the Internet. Release of such information in any of these ways or any other manner not expressly allowed under these Official Rules may invalidate a potential winning mail piece and prize may be forfeited.

Any mail piece and/or number that is damaged in any manner, manipulated, duplicated, fraudulent, forged, destroyed, altered, copied, hand printed, or tampered with in any way, or is obtained outside authorized, legitimate channels, or contains any printing, production, typographical, mechanical or other errors or mechanical defects of any kind, will be considered null and void and will not be eligible for prize redemption. Only qualifying, original mail pieces received in accordance with these Official Rules may be presented for prize claim.

A maximum of one (1) winning mail piece will be distributed for each prize available. Any act by any individual that changes the odds of winning in this Promotion or that results in multiple winning mail pieces being distributed in error will render all such mail pieces void and all such participants will be disqualified. If typographical, printing or other errors, result in more than the stated number of valid prize claims, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in a random drawing from among all such valid prize claims received. In no case will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.

Claiming the Prize: In order to be eligible to claim the prize, the claimant must be the direct and intended recipient of the potentially winning mail piece printed with the randomly selected winning unique number, and the individual on file with Sponsor. The qualifying mail piece presented for prize claim is subject to verification of eligibility, compliance with these Official Rules, and approval by Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee.

If the unique number printed under the one foil you have chosen to scratch on your mail piece exactly matches one of the winning unique numbers displayed at the Participating Dealer, then you must do the following in order to claim the prize:

1. Complete and sign the official prize claim form, available at the Participating Dealer.
2. Make a photocopy of your mail piece clearly displaying the unique number, and retain for your own records.
3. Submit the original mail piece printed with the winning unique number to an official dealership representative at the Participating Dealer.
4. Provide a photocopy of your valid driver’s license. The address on your valid driver’s license must exactly match the address as printed on your mail piece.
5. Provide proof of insurance if claiming the car prize.

If the prize claim is submitted in any manner that is not specifically allowed under these Official Rules, the prize claim and corresponding mail piece will be void and such participant will not be eligible to win the prize.

Mail piece submitted for prize claim is subject to verification of all of the following: the original mail piece itself and the unique number printed on it; the winning unique number posted at the Participating Dealer; claimant’s identity and eligibility under these Official Rules; his/her driver’s license and proof of residence; claimant’s compliance with all of the provisions of these Official Rules. Claimant may be required to submit to a phone and/or personal interview to verify his/her eligibility as set forth in these Official Rules, and will be required to execute documents attesting to his/her eligibility (as described below).

Available Prizes, Approximate Retail Value (ARV) and Odds of Winning: (1) New 2025 Honda HR-V LX FWD 4D Sport Utility (ARV: $27,205); (1: 14,591); (2) $1,000 Cash Prize in the form of a check from Norm Reeves Honda Port Charlotte (1: 14,591); (3) $500 Target Gift Card (1: 14,591).

Giveaway Prize:  The first 100 participants (excluding potential winners of the prizes listed above) who present a valid mailer may receive a $5 Target Gift Card (“Giveaway Prize”). Gift cards are subject to additional terms, conditions, and restrictions imposed by the issuing merchant.  Sponsor is not responsible for the issuance of the gift cards and disclaims all liabilities of any nature which may result from recipient’s receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of a gift card.

Total ARV of all prizes awarded, including Giveaway Prizes, is $29,205.

Prize Terms: Actual retail value of prizes may vary. All prize details, including color and options of a vehicle, will be determined solely by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Actual prize may differ from promotional images. Potential winner must be an insured, licensed driver to be awarded the vehicle. The winner must take possession of the vehicle within 30 days from winner selection. Upgrades and any other expenses not specifically identified in these Official Rules as included in the prize are the winner’s responsibility. All prizes awarded as-is; see manufacturer for details. Additional restrictions apply. Failure to collect or properly claim any of the potential prizes in accordance with these Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, winner will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation, and the prize will remain the property of Sponsor and will not be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be transferred, substituted, redeemed or exchanged for cash or any other prize except as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Winner must take delivery of prize from Participating Dealer where s/he redeemed his/her winning mail piece, or as otherwise instructed by Sponsor. All other costs related to prize acceptance, delivery and use not specified herein as being provided are the responsibility of the winner, including but not limited to all federal, state, local and income taxes.

Winner Notification: After notifying Participating Dealer that the potential winner has the potentially winning mail piece, potential winner may be required to complete and return, within five (5) days of date of receipt of written notification, a prize acceptance form, a W-9 form, and an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release (where legally permissible). If such documents are not fully executed and returned within the specified time period, if prize notification is returned as undeliverable or if potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules the prize will be forfeited. Winner will be issued an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the actual value of the prize.

Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules, which govern all other communications, and the decisions of the Sponsor relating to the Promotion, which shall be final and binding. All mail pieces and other materials submitted for this Promotion become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. False, fraudulent or deceptive mail pieces, numbers, prize claims or acts shall render participants ineligible (and all associated mail pieces, numbers and/or prize claims will be void). Any person attempting to submit a fraudulent mail piece and/or number or who attempts to defraud Sponsor in any manner in connection with this Promotion may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. In the event an individual wins the prize and is later found to be in violation of any of these Official Rules, he/she will be required to forfeit the prize or to compensate Sponsor for the stated value of the prize if the prize has already been used.  Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Mail pieces and numbers will be void if found to be photocopied, reproduced, altered, forged, defaced, tampered with, mutilated, stolen, unauthorized or illegible in any way. Mail pieces and numbers will also be void if defective or if they contain printing or other mechanical errors or are printed or produced in error.

Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, winner grants to Sponsor (which grant will be confirmed in writing on request of Sponsor), its subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers, and those acting pursuant to its authority, the right and permission to print, publish, broadcast, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, each winner’s name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, opinions and biographical information (including without limitation hometown and state) for advertising, trade, and promotional purposes (including the announcement of his or her name on television or radio broadcast) without additional consideration, compensation, permission, or notification. Participants agree that Sponsor shall own the entries, which will not be acknowledged or returned, and that Sponsor, the Participating Dealer, and their designees shall have the perpetual, worldwide right to edit, publish, and use the entries in any way and in any media for trade, advertising, promotional, and/or other purposes as Sponsor and/or its designees may determine without further consideration to participants or any third party. Participation in this Promotion constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its designated agencies to use the participant’s name, city and state of residence, voice, photograph and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising, promotion and trade in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission unless prohibited by law.

Limitations of Liability: Sponsor, Participating Dealer, and any company of any kind associated in any way with this Promotion, and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, printers, and advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), are not responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, delayed, illegible, undelivered, inaccurate or incomplete mail, mail pieces, numbers or prize claims. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE AWARDED DUE TO TRAVEL CANCELLATIONS, DELAYS, OR INTERRUPTIONS DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, ACTS OF WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS, WEATHER, OR TERRORISM. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY. In Case of Disputes: Except where prohibited, participants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, these Official Rules, or any prize awarded shall be submitted to JAMS for binding arbitration on an individual basis under its rules then in effect in the State of Florida, without resort to any form of class action, and determined by one arbitrator to be mutually agreed upon by both parties, with the parties agreeing to share equally in the arbitration costs; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and participants hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
